Decorating your baby’s nursery is the more exciting part of pregnancy. There’s nothing more exciting than scrolling Pinterest and Instagram trying to find nursery décor inspiration. If you are already doing that, you must know by now how popular Bohemian-style or boho style Nursery décor is. But in case you’ve been living under a rock, I’ll bring you up to speed a little bit.
What Is Boho style
Boho Style also called “bohemian” or “boho chic,” is a laid-back, relaxed, and individualistic style. It’s a way of decorating that reflects a rather carefree and artistic spirit. The name came from the Parisian Bohemians who lived a wandering and carefree lifestyle.
The whole goal of boho style nursery décor is to create a space that feels welcoming while still being stylish. The boho style nursery does not conform to formality allowing you to have fun while choosing pieces.
If you’re expecting a baby and want to find some nursery décor ideas, you’ll find them right here. Because I have the time, I have rounded up some of my favorite boho style nurseries and where you can find some of the boho pieces for great prices. So let’s get into it.
Wicker Everywhere Boho Style Nursery
A big part of boho decor is the use of wicker and rattan. Wicker is not a material in and of itself — it’s a weaving technique. So wicker furniture can be woven from natural or synthetic materials. Natural wicker comes from rattan. Wicker and rattan furniture have a beachy and laid-back style that makes them perfect for boho nurseries. These clean yet whimsical and comfortable-looking pieces offer a very welcoming feel. The Ottoman and basket take center stage in this artful boho chic nursery. The fact that the wall, chair, and crib are white creates a clean and fresh feel and allows the macrame wall decor and other statement pieces in this nursery to stand out.
I have managed to find a similar Ottomon on Amazon you can click here to see it.You can also find the wicker wall hanging here on Amazon.
The Earth Toned Wall Paper
A big part of boho decor is clean space. The furniture in this nursery kept its natural wood color, giving it the boho relaxed not trying too hard kind of look. The lamp with the pearly shade gives a pop of contrast adding some amount of modern feel to the whole look. What takes the cake for me though is the wallpaper. This wallpaper can be purchased on Amazon right here.
Boho Nursery With Hammock
What I love most about a boho-style nursery is that there are no rules! You simply have the freedom to drop in anything you please and the nursey with a hammock just takes the cake! This hammock can be purchased on Amazon. The key to achieving this look is to go minimalist. Focus on colors like beige and white and drop in a pop of green with a plant or two. You can also find a similar wall hanging like the one in the photo here on amazon.
The Monochrome Meets Safari Style
Monochromatic decorating is a look that’s here to stay and it’s a nice theme to mix with a bohemian Nursery. The idea of monochrome styling is based on choosing one color and going with it. Then by using color theory, apply a range of shades, tints, and hues to create a beautiful aesthetic. For this nursery, black and white are selected with splashed zesty colors like emerald and orange. The bright colors in this nursery give the feel of energy and while the neutrals make us feel calm and rested.
A similar wallpaper like this one can be purchased on Amazon here, while you should be able to find the tiger wall art on Etsy.

Boho with a Splash of Coral
Who says boho has to be subtle? You can add colours to your boho style nursery and a colour that tends to blend it perfectly is Coral. The details in this nursery makes it so pleasing to the eye . The name monogram in the background is very cute and add some personality to the room. Name monograms are on are trend and has been for some time now. You can have personalized monograms made on Etsy or even Amazon. I also love the “Lil Sis’ wall art which you can also purchase on Esty as a printable and frame it. The macrame hanging adds that extra oomph to the room and a similar one can be purchased here on Amazon.
No Chaging Table, Changing Basket Instead
This nursery shows us that we can abondon traditional changing tables and subistute it for a chagning basket. When trying to acheive the boho look you cant go wrong with throwing Ratten and Wicker peices in .
Boldly Beige
While beige and brown are often ignored due to their lucklessness, one cannot deny the beauty of this nursery. This nursery exudes opulence and simultaneously relaxation and comfort. The rug gives a feel of comfort and warmth and the hanging canopy reminds us that this is a carefree space. The canopy can be found on Amazon here
Boho Rainbow Wallpaper
The watercolor rainbow is a big part of Boho décor. So what other way to spruce up your boho style nursery than adding wallpaper with a rainbow that stands out? The Simply Stylish Boho Rainbow symbolizes kindness and light. Even though is painted in neutral tones, it boldly declares that “together is better”. A similar wallpaper can be found on Amazon here. This nursery décor look can be achieved by adding splashes of russet color like the baby pillow on the floor. Don’t forget to also add rattan or wicker to solidify that boho chic look.
10. UnderWater Boho stye
Last but not least, is the boho underwater-style nursery. This is easily achieved by getting some wallpaper with underwater animals or plants. These wallpapers are easy to get on access on Amazon. The space is also kept white and airy for the most part with a pop of coral. The sprinkling of greenery from the hanging plants also adds to the character and charm of this nursery. I also love the macrame plant hangers holding the plants. You can either make the as part of a fun DIY project or simply purchase them on Amazon right here
