20 Activities for Self care Sunday

We can all use a day to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to just take care of ourselves and for most of us, that perfect day is Sunday, which is why the term self-care Sunday was coined.

Why Self care Sunday?

Sunday usually involves preparing for the week ahead and Self care Sunday is all about making loving yourself a part of that preparation. Even science shows that intentional resting and recharging are essential to reducing stress and supporting your overall mental health. And the good news is, anyone can practice self-care, regardless of financial or time constraints. Some moms even argue that it is just as important to work out your self care muscle as it is to get your sweat on doing your favorite activity

Since most of us are working moms, the start of the week is the ideal day to take a pause, relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. As for me, ever since I have started taking a day out of the week for self-care, I am truly less anxious, less on edge, and just overall happier.

Self-care Sunday is a day that you set aside to take care of yourself. It is a day when you focus solely on yourself, your needs, and your wants. Here are twenty things you can do on your self-care day and let me just say that day doesn’t have to be Sunday.
