How Practising Self-Care Helped Me To Get My Shit Together

Self-care is a term that has become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason. Practicing self-care can help you take control of your life and make positive changes. In my own life, I have found that practicing self-care has helped me get my shit together in more ways than one.

Before I started practicing self-care, my life was chaotic. I was constantly stressed out, my sleep was disrupted, and I had a hard time focusing on anything for long periods of time. I felt like I was always on the verge of a breakdown, and I knew that something needed to change.

That’s when I started exploring the concept of self-care. I began by making small changes to my daily routine, like waking up earlier so that I had more time to prepare for my day, and incorporating exercise into my routine. I also started making an effort to eat healthier foods and get more sleep.

As I began to practice self-care on a daily basis, I started to notice changes in my life. I felt less stressed and more focused, and my mood improved. I started to feel more confident in my abilities and more in control of my life.

One of the most significant ways that self-care helped me get my shit together was by improving my mental health. I suffer from anxiety and depression, and practicing self-care has helped me manage my symptoms. By taking care of myself, I am better able to handle the challenges that life throws my way.

Another way that self-care has helped me is by improving my productivity. When I take care of myself, I am better able to focus on my work and get more done. This has helped me in my professional life, but it has also helped me in my personal life. I am able to accomplish more in a day, which means that I have more time to do the things that I love.

In conclusion, practicing self-care has been a game-changer for me. It has helped me get my shit together in so many ways. By taking care of myself, I am better able to manage my mental health, improve my productivity, and feel more in control of my life. If you are feeling overwhelmed and like you don’t have your shit together, I encourage you to try practicing self-care. It might just be the thing that changes your life for the better.
