As a black person, I am offended by this name lol. I don’t even like to use it to refer to the actual animal, so I am happy to know that it is banned, You can’t give your baby a name that might be construed as racist or insulting. For this reason, you can’t call your child “Monkey.”

This name, or should I say this combination of letters was banned in Swenden. Turns out that the parents of this child submitted this baby name in 1991 to protest a fine they received for failing to register a baby name by the child’s fifth birthday. Supposedly, it was to be pronounced “Albin.”
